Who am I?

Regan Chrisman-Boman is an interdisciplinary artist and printmaker located in the Kansas City area. Her work explores themes of the body, mental health, and gender through personal narrative stories in an invented reality. This work takes form in many different printmaking techniques such as monoprints, relief, etching, screen printing and lithography, but also extends and often mixes with different media including ceramics, zines, collage, and vinyl. She received her MFA in Studio Art Printmaking from the University of Arkansas and her BFA in Studio Art Printmaking from the University of Central Missouri. 

Chrisman-Boman’s work has been exhibited in multiple juried exhibitions and contributed to over twenty special collections throughout the country, including the Library of Congress. In connection to her art-making practice, Chrisman-Boman shares her skills with students of all ages as an educator. She has hosted community printmaking workshops at organizations such as Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and taught printmaking in higher education at the University of Arkansas.
